Participants will take a look at some of the most common grammar misdemeanors and learn ways to avoid committing them. Find out how to ensure you stay on the right side of the law and the grammar police.
Afternoon workshop:

Pattie Giordani: Nonfiction Writing:
Learn the details about writing short nonfiction. These days, even fiction writers should be able to write short nonfiction pieces. Many authors write blogs, which are a form of nonfiction (usually!). Writing articles or columns for publication can help get your name out in front of the reading public, thereby helping market your books. This two-hour workshop will discuss these forms of short nonfiction writing, including developing topics, finding and analyzing markets, pitching your ideas, interviewing sources and experts, and writing and revising.
Members free, non-members $15.00.
