Author Phil Giunta will speak at the June meeting of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group. The meeting will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25 in the Palmer Branch Library, 1 Weller Place, Easton.  Giunta will discuss the writer’s process of “Idea to Story to Plot”, using a story he recently submitted to a contest to illustrate the concept. He will end the session with a reading from that story.

A Pennsylvania resident, Giunta’s first novel, a paranormal mystery called Testing the Prisoner, debuted in 2010 from Firebringer Press. His second novel in the same genre, By Your Side, was released in 2013. Phil has narrated the audio versions of both novels, available for free at http://www.podiobooks.com.

His short stories can be found in such anthologies as ReDeus: Divine Tales, ReDeus: Beyond Borders, and Somewhere in the Middle of Eternity, which he edited. He has finished editing the second volume in the series, Elsewhere in the Middle of Eternity, which is slated for release in July, 2016. Continuing the adventures of psychic-medium Miranda Lorensen, Phil's paranormal mystery novella titled Like Mother, Like Daughters, will be available as an eBook and audio book later in 2016 via Firebringer Press.
