Learn the details about writing short nonfiction. These days, even fiction writers should be able to write short nonfiction pieces. Many authors write blogs, which are a form of nonfiction (usually!). Writing articles or columns for publication can help get your name out in front of the reading public, thereby helping market your books. This two-hour workshop will discuss these forms of short nonfiction writing, including developing topics, finding and analyzing markets, pitching your ideas, interviewing sources and experts, and writing and revising
