Afternoon Workshop
Cher Gatto
Tiles, Trademarks, and Trailers:
Finding Your Voice in a Visual World
(Presented via ZOOM, see notice below)
This is Part Two, a follow-up from the morning session. A hands-on workshop using iMovie to develop your own book trailer. Because iMovie is a Mac program, the lesson will be geared toward Mac users, with suggested application to PCs. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptop for maximum results.
Cher Gatto is a native of New Jersey who spent ten years with her husband and five children developing a horse ranch in Mexico for at-risk youth and families in crisis. Her experience there and a current house full of teenagers have been the inspiration for writing young adult, coming-of-age fiction. Cher holds a master's degree in psychology and serves as founder and president of the NY/NJ American Christian Fiction Writers chapter, as well as Zone Coordinator for the Northeast. Cher’s debut novel, Something I Am Not, won the Genesis Award for the contemporary category in 2016 and was published with Lighthouse Publishers of the Carolinas. Her second novel, Regent, is completed and awaiting publication.
