This workshop is for writers who hire designers and DIY-ers. It centers on what makes a good cover and interior, choosing cover images, basic design and type concepts, resolution, etc.

1:30 - 3:00 -- Afternoon Workshop: "Graphic Design for Authors" with Gayle Hendricks
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the morning’s topic, ask questions, and complete a brief exercise from a writing prompt focusing on memoir and poetry, and share that piece of writing if they choose with the group.
