It's these same things which are important not only to communication skills but to effective writing, The morning session will be about
discussing and demonstrating some of these skills individually.

Afternoon Session: Do You Really Know What You’re Saying?
This workshop presented by Judy England McCarthy will explore how seeing the world clearly helps with writing. Through some fun exercises, slides and stories the workshop participants will learn to free up their thoughts, become more aware and begin to question how they see the world. From there, it is just a short leap to thinking out of the box, which will help your writing flourish and grow in unexpected ways.
A Natural Born Storyteller, Judy England-McCarthy has been creating & telling stories all her life.
As an author, professional storyteller and workshop facilitator Judy's creative intention is to make connections with people through words. Judy sprinkles elements of humor, wisdom, and originality in what she does and hopes to entertain, inform and transform people through her telling, workshops and stories. Since the late 1990’s Judy has been a workshop facilitator, with her professional career as a storyteller commencing in 2009. She published her first children’s book in 2013 and now has three others under her belt as well as several stories and poems in anthologies. In 2022 she completed an animation of her first book. As a professional storyteller Judy can be found performing at various venues throughout the tri-state area. She is also available for online performances and workshops anywhere in the world.
