GLVWG’s Self-Publishing Project
Admit it, you’ve thought about self-publishing. Everyone has. Even authors with contracts fantasize about putting their books out themselves and skipping the aggravation which comes with editors, publishers, and cover designers. All that’s stopping them, and you, is the process of actually doing it.
Admit it, you’ve thought about self-publishing. Everyone has. Even authors with contracts fantasize about putting their books out themselves and skipping the aggravation which comes with editors, publishers, and cover designers. All that’s stopping them, and you, is the process of actually doing it.
Well, this year GLVWG is going to show you how it’s done, walking members through each step of what’s required to self-publish. To participate, you must be a member in good standing with GLVWG, but anyone interested in learning what it takes to produce and market your own work is welcome to follow our progress on-line. Feel free to weigh in with an opinion – this is going to be a learning process for everybody. We want to know what worked for you and what didn’t.
GLVWG will be putting out 2 anthologies: a collection of short stories and a collection of essays entitled “Why We Write”. We plan to have copies available for sale at our Write Stuff Conference in March 2015.
Happy writing!
