Riegelsville author Alissa Grosso will speak in a morning session on “10 Lessons for Writers from a Former Indie Book Reviewer”.

Learn dos and don'ts of writing and publishing your book, how not to annoy reviewers and inside secrets of the paid review industry. Alissa shares insight from her experiences working as a freelance indie book reviewer.

 Afternoon workshop

In the afternoon, Alissa will lead a 90-minute workshop titled “From First Draft to Published Novel"

An in depth look at the steps to take to turn your first draft into a real, live book. Suitable for both authors hoping to sell their book to a traditional publisher and those considering self publishing, this session will cover self-revision and rewriting, working with different publishing professionals and finalizing a manuscript for publication.
