11:00 - 12:00 Morning Program:
My premise is we humans are always writing. When we think, speak, imagine and tell stories, even if silently in our own head, we are writing whether the product is letters, essays, articles, requests, TV/radio reports or just thoughts.
The question is who are you that creates your writing?
Attendees are asked to list about a dozen qualities and characteristics that distinguish them. They should also bring with them to the meeting a couple of samples of their own writings.
I will share my own list and show examples of my letter, op-ed, TV and print journalism.
One of the takeaways from this presentation is a shift in perception of what it is to be a writer.
