What is Flash Literature? History and usage.  Flash literature is any work written and read in a flash. Typically 100 words or less, the purpose is to convey ideas, setting, plot, emotions and character as succinctly as possible.

  • Examples of Flash Lit.  Fiction and Non-Fiction
  • Where do I publish Flash Lit? Literary outlets identified.
  • Why all writers need to do it. Flash Lit is almost its own genre but this type of succinct writing is a boon to your storytelling.
  • It forces you to compact an entire article/story/novel in 100 words or less.
  • Secret: You’ve probably already done it & not known it
  • How to write in a flash. Sometimes it’s not a matter of writing skill but word organization.
  • De-clutter writing—Learn how to tell a story with bare-knuckle words.
