Candy Abbott: Her Story
Candy Abbott will discuss her memoir I've Never Loved Him More, her story of what it meant to live out her vows "in sickness and in health." As her husband's caregiver in his struggle with Alzheimer's, Candy will talk about how she loved her way through the mind-maze that would steal her partner of four decades. She found strength in her faith, family, friends, and the kindness of strangers. She engaged Scripture, prayer, and spiritual support to combat this disease -- weapons that can inspire others who are fighting chronic illness.
There will be a question-and-answer period after her presentation. She will autograph copies of her book, which will be available for purchase.
